Individualized Emergency Evacuation Plan 

UCSF provides individualized emergency evacuation plans (IEEP) for faculty, staff, and students with disabilities.

NERT/CERT Program

Learn how to do good in the neighborhood during a disaster by joining a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT).

The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program educates volunteers about disaster preparedness for the hazards that may occur where they live. CERT programs nationwide train volunteers and organizations that professional responders can rely on during disasters, allowing them to focus on more complex tasks.

CERT trains volunteers in basic disaster response skills, such as:

  • Fire safety
  • Light search and rescue
  • Team organization
  • Disaster medical operations

These programs are a great opportunity to learn basic response skills and make a difference.
