HEARNet Radio
The HEARNet (Hospital Emergency Administrative Radio Network) system is a dedicated VHF radio frequency used by the San Francisco Department of Emergency Management (SFDEM), San Francisco Department of Public Health, hospitals, and blood banks. HEARNet links all hospitals for coordination during emergencies, mass casualty incidents, and daily operations, ensuring reliable communication when other systems may be unavailable.
